How to set pen drive password



By laptops and computers, users handle their personal and office work throughout the day. In such a situation, a lot of data is collected in your laptop, which neither you can delete nor store it in your laptop or computer. In such a way, users resort to an extraordinary device such as PenDrive or USB drive to store data.

However, your personal data may be in danger at the moment when this pen drive accidentally leads to someone else's hand. One click can insert your pen drive into your laptop and click through a single click, not only your personal photos, videos and documents, but can also harm you by stealing it.

If you want to avoid this problem, you can password protect your pen drive or USB drive. After this, you will need to enter a password that you just know to see the data in your pen drive.

There are two ways to protect the pen drive with password. The first way is to put a password on PenDrive with the help of BitLocker Encryption. Another way is to protect the pen drive via third party software.

Today, here we are telling you to set a password on the first method ie Bitlok encryption pendrive.

Step 1- Put pen drive in the first computer or laptop.

Step 2- Right click on the pen drive or the USB drive. Here you will see a number of options, from which Turn on bitlock options are selected.

Step 3- Now a window will open in front of you. There will be 'Use a password to unlock the drive'. Click on the box next to it.

Step 4- You can choose any password here. To confirm this, you have to type twice. Next, click Next option.

Step 5 - Now you will have an option whether you want to save and print the recovery. If you feel that you can forget this password, you can print it too.

Step-6 Click Next option. Your BitLocker Drive Encryption will now start. Wait for it to be complicated.

Step 7- Encryption After completion, close it.

Step 8- Now your pen drive is completely secure through password and only you can see the data inside it.
